You might recall that last year we had an idea of using our business to give back. We may have dropped the ball a little this year, but we are back! This month's non-profit is... (Drumroll please!)

Caitlyn's story, unfortunately is not an uncommon one. She was the victim of a violent domestic situation and died as a result. Domestic Violence is an ever growing issue across the US and on May 13, 2019 it took the life of a young woman by the name of Caitlyn Whitehurst. Since then, her sister, Logan Whitehurst has started a non-profit to help end these senseless crimes and provide assistance to the victims of domestic violence.
On October the 5th at the Whitehurst Lakehouse in Washington, NC, the non-profit will host their first gala to raise funds. If you are in the are and wish to attend, you can purchase your tickets here.
The newly established non-profit is raising funds "to build a safe house offering 24 hour safety services for victims in need of assistance." At Fletcher's Gifts and More our hearts are on the matter of giving and a portion of our proceeds for the entire month of October will go directly to benefit this organization. We hope that you will work with us to help support them.
